The Academy Awards are having a competition only for college students. Make a 30 second clip as to why you are the future of filmmaking and, if you win, you help present awards at the oscars. The deadline is tonight at 5. Most people are just sitting in front of webcam and spouting off. My theory is that talk is cheap. I made this video just for the competition. I could have just used footage from my reel, but I chose to challenge myself by tailoring the video for the purpose of the competition. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Pass this onto your friends, family, and the one creepy guy on facebook you barely know! I love film! Please send me to the Oscars! This is my chance!

Using a collaborative oil painting process, Cara Thayer and Louie Van Patten create artworks that explore the poignant power of the human touch.
